Ceremony Spaces
If you are interested in having both your ceremony and reception here, the best thing to do is just add the Ceremony Package to any of our rentals! This includes: chairs set up in the chosen location, a dressing room for the bride and a dressing room for the groom. Below are the ceremony locations you can choose from! This is an ideal choice because guests won’t have to drive from ceremony to reception, and they can enjoy the splendor of the Center and the grounds as they go from ceremony to reception!

Bride and Groom Spaces
If you choose to have your wedding and reception at our wonderful venue, the Bride and the Groom each get a dressing space downstairs. There is plenty of space in the rooms for attendants, a pre-event toast, and room to leave items during the wedding. The cost is included in the ceremony fee.
Reception Spaces
The Ivy Room
Window walls provide picturesque views of wooded slopes and the rippling water feature. Vaulted ceilings with exposed wood trusses, natural lighting, and an eco-friendly carpet combine to create a serene, open atmosphere with fully integrated technology.

Dining Area
Overlooking our beautiful water feature, the open dining area is an ideal location for pre-function cocktails. The Dining Area also makes a fantastic addition to The Ivy Room for larger events. Combining the two rooms allows for easy flow and more space for your guests. It is also an ideal space for buffets, stations, and bars!

Blue Planet Theater
Our contemporary, state-of-the-art space where a unique waterscreen cascades into a nine foot infinity pool, the Blue Planet Theater, is a stunning venue. A high tech SmartPodium and high windows combine to make this the perfect ambiance for receptions. Outdoor views of the adjoining terrace balance with sleek cobalt blue pendant lighting and terrazzo floors to create a sophisticated atmosphere.

Entire Center
Enjoy complete access to the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center for your event! The package includes all rooms as well as access to all of our exhibits permanent and traveling! This is great if you would like to have your ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at the Center. You have access to all spaces and rooms to create the flow and wedding of your dreams!

Cocktail Hour
If you are interested in having a cocktail hour between your ceremony and reception (completely optional), we have a number of fantastic spaces!
Main Exhibit Hall
Perfect for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres or mingling, the glass enclosed Water Ways Exhibit Hall is an eye-catching interior bridge. With access to all of the exhibits for your guests, the Exhibit Hall provides an open atmosphere, entertainment, and a great canvas for your event!

Bridge Area
The outdoor Bridge Area is a great space to toast a wonderful celebration and experience first hand the unique water feature while the Bride and Groom are taking pictures. If the timing is right, the sun will set while the guests are sipping away!
