PLU Courses
Unless otherwise noted, all courses are based on-site at the Gwinnett Environmental & Heritage Center.
Fall 2010:
GEHC Green Living Series (2010-2011)
Learn Green to Live Green!
K-12 Teachers can receive one PLU for attending programs in the Green Living Series! These programs are designed for adults and provide information about lifestyle choices that affect the environment.
- Green Living Series programs meet from 10:00am-noon, one Saturday per month (September-May), but PLU course participants choose which programs in the Series to attend (must attend a minimum of five).
- You can download the Registration Form and Prior Approval Form from our website. Submission instructions and deadlines are printed on each of these forms.
- Registration deadline: Friday, October 30, 2010. Payment for the full Series is expected at the time of registration. Please make checks payable to GEHC. To pay by credit card, please call 770.904.3500 or pay online through Gwinnett County’s online registration system (activity # GEHC2024). Please note that even if you pay online, you will still need to submit both the Registration Form and the Prior Approval Form to GEHC.
- Each participant will have access to related educational resources, including correlations with the Georgia Performance Standards, through a class web portal.
